Lorna Henry
Staff Attorney - Maryland
Lorna Henry joined PJI in 2023 to open its Maryland office. Having worked at a large non-profit law firm for several years, Lorna understands the importance of providing high-quality legal assistance and resources to those who need it most. Fighting for people to protect their legal rights is critical to preserving the system of justice in America and for future generations.
Lorna graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and received her Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law where she was a member of the Charles Hamilton Houston National Moot Court Team. She has practiced in several areas including consumer bankruptcy and debt collection, foreclosure defense, estates, trusts and probate.
Being a part of the PJI team goes hand in hand with two Bible verses God gave Lorna in her first year of law school, Proverbs 31 verses 8 and 9. Proverbs 31:8 says, Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, ensure justice for those being crushed (NLT). Proverbs 31:9 says, Open your mouth, judge righteously, and administer justice for the afflicted and needy (AMP).
Lorna is excited about helping to advance PJI’s mission to defend the religious freedoms, parental rights, and other civil liberties of those who cannot defend themselves.
