April Forbes is a graduate of Howard University and Loyola University School. She has been admitted to practice in New York and several other state and federal courts.
Attorney Forbes’ legal career has spanned for more than 20 years and has consisted of providing representation to a diverse clientele including, but not limited to, insurance carriers, injured employees, premise owners, general contractors, insurance brokers/agents, clergy, financial institutions, and a municipality. For the entire span of Attorney Forbes’ legal career, she has assisted ministries and other not for profit entities with effective corporate governance strategies and risk management services.
Attorney Forbes’ greatest accomplishment has been (and will always be) accepting Jesus Christ as personal Savior at the young age of 8 years old. She is a lifelong member of the Church of God In Christ, Inc. and has served in various capacities in ministry for now over 30 years.
