God Made Dad & Mom

Designed for children ages 5–8, God Made Dad & Mom follows Michael as he learns about family and God’s design for human life. A visit to the zoo with his father prompts two heartfelt questions: Why does his friend have two fathers, and was Michael adopted?

Michael’s father responds with patience and love. Their conversation introduces children to the book’s biblical Christian perspective on motherhood, fatherhood, marriage, adoption, and the different ways people can honor God. Michael learns that he was adopted and that his parents love him deeply. The story also affirms that marriage is meaningful even when a couple cannot have children, and that a person can honor God whether married or single.

With a warm family story and Scripture references for further reading, the book offers parents and children a starting point for thoughtful conversations about family, faith, and belonging.
